Today I received An Eye for Detail postcard from you announcing your reception in November. Congratulations ! You are doing such great things. Wow! The bird’s nest is phenomenal, and I love your bird work.
During our current drought,not of art but of rain, I’ve had a very good time observing the different species of birds’ bathing habits in the backyard birdbath. It’s been practically a full time job keeping it filled up! I’m delighted to know you are a birder too! All the best, Andrea

Yes, it’s been a busy week, and I haven’t actually put pencil to paper yet on anything new, but I have been researching and gathering photos, nests, ideas. I’m pretty sure I’m ready to start a drawing of a catbird’s nest with a catbird somewhere perched on a twig. It will most likely be a larger piece (for me) and I’m hoping to get some initial sketches done today, and start tomorrow – Saturday!
