New piece – feathers and broken eggshell in a box
Here is a photo of the piece I am currently working on. The two blue jay feathers are still in process; the lower, spotted feather and egg are pretty much complete.

Hi Holly, I don’t know if I’d call it trompe l’oeil, but it does look very realistic, doesn’t it. I think of it as another little nature still-life. What do you think?
