Continuation of Peacock Feather WIP
A couple more days of work on this drawing and the peacock feather fringe is starting to take shape. I must be crazy – this is very delicate and difficult drawing. I think the actual eye of the feather will be easier to execute.
Though its looks very challenging, you are doing a beautiful job Debbi. The colors of the feather are perfect, and you are really capturing its texture also.

Thanks Lynda. It is challenging. I realized that recently I have been trying to capture these very ephemeral things – butterfly wings, dragonfly wings, peacock feathers, eggs partially broken open. Not easy subject matter.
