I think the Rtistx is an interesting surface. I am still not a complete convert to sanded and/or textured surfaces, but they do hold a lot more pencil color a lot more quickly. I couldn't tell you how many layers I've applied. For the water, I start with Marine Green, then go over that with Aquamarine, and then use Trued Green and then True Blue.
