I hope I didn’t come off as too nerdy pointing out the difference. . . I just love gingko leaves – they’re fan-shaped. They are so pretty to see lying all over the ground in the fall when they turn yellowy-green. They’re not very common around here, but my neighbor has a huge, mature gingko tree in her front yard, 3 houses down from ours! You may not have them where you live. I wonder if you do?!

Thanks Gwen! It’s a gingko leaf, and the two leaves under the hawk are oak leaves, one is from a white oak and the other’s from a red oak. Almost done. . .

Hi Alex, yes, I agree with you about the leaf adding depth. Now it needs another leaf in the foreground to break up the rectangular/horizontal feel just a bit.
