The Sharp-shinned hawk – is it done?

I’m wondering if this drawing is complete.  I keep going back and tweaking little areas, and fine tuning edges, or shading that looks like it didn’t develop enough.  My question is this:  “Is it done?”  Please feel free to give me your opinion.

  2. Yes, that’s the truth. Maybe you can write another poem for this drawing?

  4. Hey thanks Chantell. I appreciate your saying that. I think it’s done as well, but this one time (?!) I was putting out feelers regarding the subject. Thanks for responding.

  5. Wonderful, Debbi. All of those beautiful brown things, no longer living, but still graceful. Love the ginko leaf… its form, and its placement in the composition.

  6. Thank you Liz! I think maybe I accomplished the “leaf floating down effect” with the gingko leaf, even though it is slightly anchored by it’s shadow?
