About Me
I am new to blogging, so my formatting is simple, but I hope you will take some time to read my posts, visit my website and leave a comment. I have been making artwork since my early years and absolutely love to create things. This is me holding my cat, Bernini Grigio, at left. I have another cat named Marco Polo. My two previous cats, Sophia de bell’occhi (Sophia of the beautiful eyes) and Leonardo Fidele (Leo the faithful) are the characters portrayed in many of my cat “adventure” paintings.
Here is a photo of Marco Polo in the birthday hat my younger son made for him. He is not very pleased with the situation, but he’s such a sweet cat that he doesn’t protest much in spite of his misery.
There YOU are with Bernini……….nice to SEE you! I’ll have a favorite quote to share with you: “It is never too late to be what you might have been”, by George Eliot. It has meaning for me given my 20+ year ‘hiatus’ from my artwork.

I like that quote, Lynda! Thanks. My son says that I now have to post a photo of me holding Marco. . . one of Marco alone isn’t good enough, according to him. So stay posted!
